Obituary: Joseph Stecher - Services for Joseph F. Stecher, 78, of 202 S. Bell St., will be 10 a.m. Monday at St Patrick's Catholic Church. Stecher, a retired employee of Stormor Inc., died today at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County. He was born on Jan. 18, 1900, in Dodge County and lived in Fremont for 24 years. Before that, Stecher lived in Dodge. On Aug. 21, 1928, he married the former Anna Tichota in Omaha. She survives. Other survivors are a son, Joseph Jr., of Fremont; a daughter, Mary Ann Nuenfeldt, also of Fremont; a brother, Albert, Omaha; a sister, Rosalie Karnik, of Sidney; and two grandchildren. Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation begins at 6 p.m. Saturday. A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
