Obituary: Anna M. Stecher - Anna M. Stecher, 88, 202 S. Bell St., died Friday at her home. She was a retired beautician. Mrs. Stecher was born May 17, 1899, in Dodge and had lived in Fremont for 34 years. She operated a beauty shop in the Clarkson and Dodge area and later worked for Al's Café in Fremont. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Circle and St. Patrick's Catholic Church. She married Joseph F. Stecher on Aug. 21, 1928, in Omaha. He died Dec. 1, 1978. Mrs. Stecher is survived by a son, Joseph E. Stecher of Fremont; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Sterling, Fremont; a granddaughter and a grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Wilma Tresnak of Dodge and Mrs. Emily Bartlett of Council Bluffs, Iowa. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick's Church. Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation is in progress.
