In Memoriam WILLIAM FRANKLIN LAWRENCE December 6, 1877 ~ January 19, 1961 SERVICES HELD SUNDAY FOR W. F. LAWRENCE Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Bethel church for William Frank Lawrence, 83, Bethel. Mr. Lawrence died at 2:10 p.m. Thursday at McCurtain Memorial hospital. Born December 6, 1877 at Shady, Ark., he had resided in this county for 41 years. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Baptist church. He is survived by five sons, Dick Lawrence, Winters, Calif.; Fruman Lawrence, Cottage Grove, Ore.; Earnie Lawrence, Owasso; Claude Lawrence, Vandervoot, Ark. and W. F. Lawrence, Jr., Jonesville, Calif; seven daughters, Mrs. Raymond Hoover of Winters, Calif., Mrs. Jess Simpson, Mt. Herman; Mrs. Don Gates, Broken Bow; Mrs. Alta Ward, Wickes, Ark.; Mrs. J. B. Stinnett, Owasso; Mrs. Warren Llewellyn, Owasso; and Mrs. James Marshall; Idabel; Two brothers, Alex Lawrence, Talihina and Amsby Lawrence, Vandervoot, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. Effie Whisenhunt, Vandervoot; 22 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Arrangements and burial in Bethel cemetery were under the direction of Norwood-Welch funeral home.
