Bio
Hilda Sabrsula, age 84, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and friend, left this life to be with her Lord and loved ones September 8, 2020. Funeral services are at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Chapel on Friday, September 11, 2020. Visitation will be from noon till 2:00 for family and public. The service will be at 2:00 for family members. Rev. Felix Carrion will be officiating the service. Hilda was born November 4, 1935 in Rosenberg and lived her young life in Beasley, Tx. She was confirmed and baptized at Beasley E&R Church and has been a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. Hilda retired from Richmond State School and enjoyed playing cards with her friends, going dancing, and making trips to Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Emma Miller Kettler; son Rubin Jr.; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Sabrsula; sisters, Edna Rose, Ella Mae Hodges; brothers, Alfred, Lonnie, Roy Kettler; and friend, George Gorka. She leaves behind her family she loves, daughters, Linda Martin, Jeanette Stasney and husband, Bobby, Wanda Lubojacky and husband, Robert Jr., Debra Vela and husband, Adam; and son, David Sabrsula. Hilda was blessed with eleven grandchildren and twenty two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Emma Lee Enax-Marek and husband, Ed Marek. The pallbearers are her six grandsons, Michael Sury, Chris Sury, Charles Sabrsula, Jarrod Stasney, Shane Sabrsula, and Keith Martin.
