Bio

Born in McNairy Co., TN. the only daughter of James George Hodges and Margarett Hodges. She and James Thomas Haile were wed in Sherman, Grayson Co., TX. The union had eleven children before their divorce in 1903 in Dickens Co., TX. In the later years of life Mary B. lived with her son William Burder Haile, a rancher in Hutchinson Co., TX. Her grave is beside that of her son and his second wife Nannie Irene Byrum.
