Bio
James George Hodges was the son of William Cayson Hodges and Kaizah George of McNairy Co, TN. He married Margarett (Maggie) Hodges on July 20, 1837 (probably in McNairy Co.). The family Bible leads one to believe that a Hodges married a Hodges. Somehow, however, Callaway and Beaver, are important names in this branch of the Hodges family. If anyone can clarify this, I would like to hear from them! James George and Margarett settled in Grayson Co, TX with their nine children. Margarett died in 1874 and James George married MRS. Zylpha Jane (Pike) Hall in Grayson County on April 01, 1874. The picture is James George and his second wife, Zylpha Jane Pike.
