Bio

Shedric Hodges Haile was the son of James Thomas Haile and Mary Beaver Hodges. He married Cora Brown in January of 1911, near Afton, TX. They had three children before she died a week after the birth of their third child. She is buried in Megargle, TX. Hodges married second Dora Alice (Allie) Mills on August 13, 1918, in Dalhart, TX. They also had three children. He worked for the Matador Land and Cattle Company with his brother Columbus Calloway Haile He drove an ambulance in WWI (on his cemetery marker it says "Sgt. 52 Mtr. Ambulance Co. WWWI.")
