Married to Edward R. Goff in 1894 Mrs. Mary Goff died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. P. Crick, 414 West Fifteenth street, at 11:25 p.m. Wednesday, following an illness of six months. Mary Goodwin was born August 12, 1870, in Vermont, being aged 62 years and 11 months at the time of her demise. At an early age, she came to Grand Island with her parents and has spent almost her entire life here. She was united in marriage to E. R. Goff in this city in 1894. To the union were born four daughters, Mrs. E. P. Crick of this city, and Mrs. Herman H. Harry and Mrs. Cecil Crone, both of Chapman. A daughter Celia passed away in 1918 and Mr. Goff passed away in 1927. She is also survived by two grand-children, three sisters, Miss Celia Goodwin, and Miss Elizabeth Goodwin and Mrs. John Murphy, all of this city and two brothers, Frank Goodwin of this city and Milton Goodwin of Harrington, S. D. Her parents two sisters and five brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at nine o'clock Saturday morning, at St. Mary's cathedral. Burial will be in Grand Island cemetery.
