Miss Cecelia Goodwin, 71, resident of the community for 67 years, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Crick, 414 West Fifteenth street this morning. Death was attributed to a heart ailment and complications attending infirmities of her years. Funeral rites will be held at the nine o'clock Tuesday morning in St. Mary's Cathedral. Burial will be in the family space in Grand Island Cemetery. Cecelia Dorothy Goodwin was born at Jericho, Vt., Apr. 2, 1869, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Goodwin. When she was four years of age, the family came to Grand Island to make its home. Cecelia Dorothy Goodwin was a nurse and served in this profession until her health failed. A member of St. Mary's Cathedral parish, Miss Goodwin was a regular attendant at the services when health permitted. Her only social affiliation was the Royal Neighbors of America. Miss Goodwin is survived by two brothers, Frank E. Goodwin and J. M. Goodwin, two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Murphy and Miss Elizabth Goodwin, all of the city, five brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. Friends may call at the Livingston-Sondermann funeral home Monday evening, between the hours of seven and nine o'clock. Recitation of the holy rosary will be at eight o'clock Monday evening.
