Bio
Annie Chudej, 83, of West, Texas, passed away Friday evening, Sept. 8, 2006, in a Waco hospital. Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11 at St. Mary's Church of the Assumption in West with Father Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Kotch Funeral Home in West. Annie was born and had lived in the West area all of her life. She married Louis V. Chudej on Nov. 10, 1943 in West. She was a member of St. Mary's Church of the Assumption in West, Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 4819 of West, K.J.Z.T. Society #11, and an associate member of K.J.T. #31, member of SPJST Lodge #6 of Cottonwood and a volunteer at West Rest Haven for 30 years. She preceded in death by her husband on May 4, 1992. She is survived by sons, Ernest Chudej, of Chalk Bluff, Edward Chudej, of West, and Johnny Chudej and wife, Barbara, of Ross; a sister, Georgia Skerik, of West, eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
