Raymond H. Nors, 69, of Rt. 1, Abbott, died Friday, May 3, in a West hospital. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 2 p.m. May 5, in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott with the Rev. William Spong as celebrant. Burial followed in Fatima Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Saturday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Nors was born October 6, 1915 at West. He married Lillian Janek in 1941 at Penelope. He lived at Mt. Calm from 1941 to 1951, and at West from 1951 to 1957. He had lived at Abbott since 1957. He was a retired farmer and employee of Fleetwood Trailer Company and also West Flour Mill. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church of Abbott and KJT Society of Abbott. Survivors include his wife, Lillian Nors, two sons, Bennie Nors of Rt. 1, Abbott and Harry Gene Nors of Rt. 2, Abbott; two daughters, Mrs. Johnny (Angeline) Roznovsky of Farmer's Branch and Mrs. Gene (Betty Jo) Miller of Carrolton; two brothers, John Nors of Rt. 2, West and Joe F. Nors of West; Five sisters, Mrs. Bill (Georgia) Skerik of Rt. 2, West, Mrs. Charlie (Mary) Bordovsky and Mrs. Agnes Vykukal, both of Waco, Mrs. Louis (Annie) Chudej and Mrs. Vince (Adele) Chudej, both of West; 24 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were: John Roznovsky, III, Raymond Nors, Eugene Miller, Bobby Nors, Johnny Chudej, Terry Mechell, and Bernard Chudej. Kotch Funeral Home of West was in charge of arrangement.
