Bio
Frank J. Nors, 71, of Route 1, West, died Wednesday afternoon at his home. Mass of Christian burial was held at 10 a.m. Friday in the St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Rev. Gene Shepard as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 8th in the Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mr. Nors was born in West and lived most of his life in the West area. He was a retired farmer and an employee of the West Flour Mill. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and KJT Society No. 31. He married Mary Novak in 1932 in West. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Johnny Nors and Bill Nors, both of West; a daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Helen) Petter of Dallas; three brothers, Joe Nors and John Nors, both of West, and Raymond Nors of Abbott; five sisters, Mrs. Charlie (Mary) Bardovsky of Waco, Mrs. Vince (Adele) Chudej, Mrs. Georgia Mechell and Mrs. Louis (Annie) Chudej, all of West, Mrs. Joe (Agnes) Vykukal of 2410 1/2 Ethel in Waco; and 13 grandchildren.
