Bio

Mary was born on January 9, 1870 daughter of George and Ellen Hughes. She died in January 1942 and was buried in Sugar Grove Cemetery. In August 1885 Mary married George W. Appleman. He was born in 1862, in Wisconsin, son of Jesse Appleman and his second wife Christine Clarissa Smith. Their children, all born in Wis., were: Bertha E., b. Aug 1886; William L., b. Oct 1888; Geneva; Roy, b. Oct 1894; Emel, b. Feb 1899; Milford, b. 1901; Charles, b. 1903; Hattie, b. 1908; & Edith Appleman, date of birth unknown.
