The following bio was gratiously provided by Find A Grave Member John Christeson (46562435): Bertha E Appleman, daughter of George W. Appleman and Mary Elizabeth Hughes, was born August 29, 1886 in Vernon County, Wisconsin, died December 8, 1976 in Hayward, Sawyer County, Wisconsin, aged 90 years, 3 months and 10 days, and was buried there in the family plot in the Spider Lake Cemetery. Bertha was united in marriage to Louis Jacob Wemmer, born in November 1883, son of George Washington Wemmer and Nancy Elizabeth Appleman. He died July 13, 1962 in Sawyer County, Wisconsin, aged about 78 years and 8 months and was buried in the family plot in the Spider Lake Cemetery. Their known children were: Dorothy M. Wemmer born 24 Sep 1907 William Darrel Wemme 1 Oct 1911 Madeline D. Wemmer 1913 Richard Lee Wemmer 2 Sep 1925
