Fort Bend Herald, Tuesday, July 15, 2025: JoAnn Sebesta Foytik, 85, of Needville, Texas, passed away on July 10, 2025. She was born on April 20, 1940 in Snook, Texas to William Adolf and Rosie (Esterak) Sebesta. JoAnn was a long-time faithful member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary - Post #271. JoAnn always had a caring, nurturing heart. She genuinely enjoyed taking care of others. She also liked to can vegetables and sew. This loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend will be missed. In addition to her parents, JoAnn is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Joseph Foytek, Sr.; brothers, Lawrence W. and Ivan Sebesta; and her sister, Dorothy Callihan. Survivors include son, Clarence Foytik, Jr. and his wife, Julie, and their daughter, Emily Foytik; son, David Foytik and his wife, Amanda, and his daughter, Kaitlin Reese and her husband, Matthew Reese; son, Dale Foytik and wife, Deina, and their children, Jaecen and Rhys Foytik; son, Brian Foytik; daughter, Cheryl Johnson and her husband, Christopher. JoAnn's legacy will live on in her great-grandson, Luke Reese. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2025, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2025, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. For those wishing, in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Michael's Catholic Church, P.O.
