Lucille May “Lucy May” Serbus was born on 20 March 1896 in Henryville Township, Renville County, Minnesota, to Mary Zetah and Frank M. Serbus. Lucy May married Frank Jacob Dolezal, Jr., the son of Frank M. and Mary Kodet Dolezal, on 16 October 1917, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bechyn, Renville County, Minnesota. Lucy May and Frank had nine children, Frank Arthur, Jr., Claude Joseph, Leonard Benjamin, Lucille Mae, Jeanette Marie, Darlene Catherine, Margaret, Daniel E., Sr., and Jerome (who died in infancy). Lucille May Serbus Dolezal died at the age of 72, on 28 April 1968, in Renville County, Minnesota. Lucille was survived by her husband and eight of her children. She was buried in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery in Olivia, Renville County, Minnesota.
