Services for Robert W. "Bob" Smith will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of John Kramer & Son. Burial will be in Alexandria Memorial Gardens. Smith, 84, of Monroe Street died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Rapides General Hospital. He was a tailor for Weiss & Goldring for more than 50 years. Survivors include one son, Robert L. Smith Sr. of Alexandria; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today in the funeral home where a rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today.
