BATON ROUGE, La. - Clementine Desoto Ponthieux, 77, a native of Echo, died at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday in a Baton Rouge hospital. She was a resident of Baton Rouge. Funeral services were to be held in St. Francis De Sales Catholic church, Echo, at 10 a.m. today. Burial was to be in the church cemetery under direction of Rabenhorst Funeral Home of Baton Rouge. Mrs. Ponthieux is survived by a son, Anet Desoto of Baton Rouge; a sister, Mrs. Annie Dupree of Marksville; two half-brothers, Robert Smith of Alexandria, and Jessie Smith of Simmesport, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
