MARKSVILLE, La. - Funeral services for Della Bordelon Dauzat, a native of Marksville, were held at 9 a.m. Sunday in St. John's Catholic church, Moncla, with Rev. Charles DeKuelaire officiating. Burial was in St. John's cemetery under direction of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home in Marksville. Mrs. Dauzat died in the Hessmer Nursing Home at 9 p.m. Friday. She is survived by a son, L.B. Dauzat of Marksville; four daughters, Mildred D. Gaspard and Zepherna D. Gaspard of Marksville, Vergie D. Dauzat of Pineville, and Linster D. McNeal of Effie; three brothers, Jessie Smith of Batchelor and Robert and Eddie Smith of Alexandria; two sisters, Una B. Carter and Essie B.
