FRANK JAMES EFFLE Requiem mass will be offered Friday at 9:30 a. m. at St. Joseph's Church, 16601 S. E. Powell boulevard, for Frank James Effle, who died Sunday of a coronary embolism at his home, 14140 E. Burnside street. Interment will be at Forest Lawn cemetery, Gresham. Recitation of the rosary will be Thursday at 8 p. m. at Bateman Funeral chapel, Gresham. Mr. Effle was born August 31, 1872 at Norfolk, Nebr., and came to Oregon in 1941. He operated a service station in Gresham until he moved to Portland 2 years ago. He was a member of St. Joseph's church and the Holy Names society. He is survived by the widow, Lillian G. Effle; two sons, Leo F. Effle, Portland, and Cletus R. Effle, Hutchinson, Minn.; two daughters, Mrs. Lyle Johnson, Gresham, and Mrs. Raymond Baseman, Grand Rapids, Minn.; a brother, Jacob Effle and a sister, Mrs. Katie Putman, both of Creighton, Neb.
