Bio
Henry Anton Serbus was born on 02 June 1898 in Henryville Township, Renville County, Minnesota, to Henry P. and Mary A. (Kubesh) Serbus. Henry was raised in Henryville Township and attended public schools in Renville County. Prior to his death, he worked as a grain buyer for the Farmers Elevator Company in North Redwood. Henry was a young man who enjoyed good health until he suffered an attack of appendicitis on 29 January 1928. Henry was rushed to the hospital where an appendectomy was performed the same day. Sadly, he died from peritonitis on Sunday, 05 February 1928, at the Redwood County Hospital in Redwood Falls, Redwood County, Minnesota. Henry was survived by his parents; grandparents; two brothers; and, eight sisters. The funeral for Henry Anton Serbus was held on Wednesday, 08 February 1928, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bechyn. Burial followed in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Bechyn, Renville County, Minnesota.
