Son of Albin Heidrich and Marie Peters WILLIE ALBIN HEIDRICH Shiner Gazette, January 14, 1954 Funeral services conducted for Willie Heidrich Funeral services for Willie Heidrich were conducted from the Kubena Funeral Home, Hallettsville, Thursday, January 7, at 1:30 p.m. Interment was in the Shiner City Cemetery. The Rev. Edwin J. Oehlke conducted religious rites at the funeral home and also at the graveside. Mr. Heidrich passed away in the Renger Hospital January 4, at 9:10 p.m. at the age of 59 years and four days. Mr. Heidrich was born in Gonzales County December 30, 1894, the son of Albin and Marie Peters Heidrich. He was married to Elizabeth Neubauer August 7, 1917, in Hallettsville. They first settled near Shiner, than moved to Moulton and for the past 26 years had been living in Hallettsville and Breslau. Survivors are his wife; five sons, Elton Heidrich, Sturgis, Kentucky; Werner Heidrich, Bay City; William Heidrich, Sheridan; Alvin Heidrich, Wichita Falls; Linton Heidrich, Hallettsville; three daughters: Mrs. Earl (Nita) Green, Denver City, Texas; Mrs. J.R. (Vera) Allgood, Sheridan; Miss Ruth Heidrich, Shiner; 19 grandchildren, two brothers, Charles and Adolph Heidrich of Shiner; five sisters, Mrs. Henry (Clara) Lockstedt, Mrs. Theo. (Helen) Joost, Mrs. Elo (Neddie Lee) Voelkel, Yoakum; Mrs. Earl (Marie) Rhodes, El Paso; Mrs. Arthur (Martha) Wagner, Brooklyn, N.Y. Preceding him to the grave were his parents, one brother, Paul Heidrich; two sisters, Mrs. Ollie (Annie) McDavid and Mrs. Eddie (Ella) Hagens. Mr. Heidrich was reared in Gonzales County. He followed farming all his life. He received baptism in the Gonzales Lutheran Church. The Choir of the Hallettsville Baptist Church, directed by Rev. Henry Smith, rendered the following hymns: "Shall We Gather At The River" "Abide With Me", "What A Friend We Have In Jesus". Pallbearers were Herman Kaelke, Louis Meinke, Manuel Allgood, Otto Sander, Max Voskamp and Hugo Albricht.
