ELIZABETH DOROTHY NEUBAUER HEIDRICH Shiner Gazette, Oct. 19, 1989 Bay City – Elizabeth Dorothy Heidrich of Bay City, formerly of Shiner, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 1989 in Bay City Hospital at the age of 90 years and 7 months. One of 11 children, she was born March 11, 1899, in Lavaca County to William and Clara (Werner) Neubauer, natives respectively of Germany and Sublime, Lavaca County, Texas. Mrs. Heidrich was the eldest and only girl in her immediate family. On August 7, 1917, she married Willie A. Heidrich. The couple resided in the Shiner area and Moulton before moving to Bay City. Her husband died Jan. 4, 1954; and a son, William Heidrich died Dec. 22, 1965. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday October 13 at Golden Avenue Baptist Church in Bay City with the Rev. Mike Mercer officiating. Graveside services were held at Shiner City Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Friday Oct. 13 with grandsons David Wayne Miller and Darrel Heidrich officiating. Bay City Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Grandsons served as pallbearers. Surviving are three sons, Elton Heidrich of Sturges, KY., Alvin Heidrich of Kamay, Texas, Buddy Heidrich of Sugar Valley, Texas; three daughters, Nita Green of Brownwood, Vera Algood of Bennington, Okla., and Ruth Miller of Bay City; four brothers, Arthur and Carl Neubauer both of Yoakum, August Neubauer of Hallettsville, Herbert Neubauer of Gonzales; 39 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and son, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Fritz C. Neubauer, Nov. 26, 1967; Edwin Carl Neubauer, Sept. 9, 1962; Walter Neubauer, age 5, Nov. 3, 1922; Willie Otto Neubauer, July 15, 1985; Arnold J. Neubauer, Apr. 17,1979; And Albert Neubauer, Mar. 22, 1986.
