Ruth May Miller, 60 of Bay City, passed away Saturday, may 25, 1996 at the Legacy. She was born June 22, 1935 in Hallettsville, Lavaca County, Texas to Willie Albin and Elizabeth Dorothy Neubauer Heidrich. She married Grant Miller on March 23, 1968. She was a resident of Bay City for the past 41 years and a member of the Bay City Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Grant Miller of Bay City; by a daughter, Gerlean Marie Miller Jackson of Wharton; by a son, David Wayne Miller of Sweeny; by two Sisters, Nita Green of Brownwood and Vera Allgood of Bennington, OK; and by three brothers, Elton Heidrich of Sturgis, KY, Alvin Heidrich of Iowa Park, Texas, and Linton "Buddy" Heidrich of Sweeny. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Jason, Michelle, Neal, all of Wharton, by seventeen nieces, and by nineteen nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Albin Heidrich in 1955, by her mother Elizabeth Heidrich in 1989, and by two brothers. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 1996, at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery, Bay City.
