RUSH CENTER - Frank A. Oborny, 73, died Wednesday at the St. Joseph's Hospital, Larned. He was born on March 14, 1899 at Schuyler, Neb. He was married to Ludmila Elizabeth Stika on May 14. 1929 at Pilsen; she preceded him in death on Sept. 6,1956. He moved to Rush County in 1905 and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Timken and the Catholic Workmen Lodge, branch 133. His survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Florence Herrman, La Crosse; Mrs. Helen Brack, Weeping Water, Neb.; two sons, Frank P. and John J., both of Rush Center; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Stika, Marion; Mrs. Anna Jecha, Timken; Mrs. Albina Matta, Wilson; Mrs. Blanche Baxa, Agenda; six brothers, Joseph, Great Bend; Edward, Jerry and Jean, all of Timken; Rudolph, Rush Center; and Louis, of Bison; and 28 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Timken, with Msgr. A. B. Clupny officiating. Interment will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Rosary will be said at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, at the Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse. Great Bend Tribune January 4, 1973
