TIMKEN - Louis E. Oborny, 69, died Tuesday at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend. Born Jan. 15, 1909 at Bison, he married Helen Krestine June 2, 1938 at Timken. He was a farmer and lived here all of his life. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Catholic Workman, both of Timken. Survivors: widow, of the home; brothers: Joseph, Great Bend; Edward Sr., Jerry , Jean Sr., all of Timken; Rudolph, Rush Center; sisters: Mrs. Henry Baxa, Agenda; Mrs. Ernest Mattas Sr., Wilson; Mrs. Joe Stika, Marion. Rosary will be 8 p.m. Thursday at Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial in church cemetery. Hutchinson News September 27, 1978
