Helen F. Oborny, 88, Bison, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005, at Rush County Memorial Hospital, La Crosse. She was born March 8,1917, in rural Bison to Nik and Frances (Schenk) Krestine. She married Louis E. Oborny on June 2,1938, in Timken. She was a homemaker. Survivors include nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death brother husband Louis, 26 September 1978 and her infant son, John Henry. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ness City; burial in the church cemetery. Parish vigil will be at 7 p.m. today at the church. Visitation will be until 4 p.m. today at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City.Memorials are suggested to Sacred Heart School, Ness City Hays Daily News September 7, 2005
