Sabrina Molly Sulak Macicek, 88, of La Marque, passed away Monday, December 3, 2001, at Gulf Health Care in Texas City. Mrs. Macicek was born September 21, 1913, in West, Texas, to Cyril and Anna Sulak. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Texas City and a member of KJZT Organization in La Marque. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Macicek. Beloved mother of Myra Harrell of Pearland, Barbara Collins of Houston, Jo Alice Harrison and husband Tim, of Galveston, Deborah Watkins and husband Mike of La Marque; sons, Clarence Macicek and wife, Sue of New Caney, and Edward Macicek, Jr. of New Caney; sisters, Lucille Hykle of West, Sophie Wrbas of Hubbard, Lilly Marak of West, and Margarette Gaidusek of Waco; thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 4, 2001, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2001, at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Texas City with Father Tom Cullen officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson. Pallbearers will be Ray Harrell, III, James Collins, Jr., Brad Watkins, Macon Macicek, James Wesley Guyton and Wayne Guyton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Anna Sulak; five sisters, Agnes Cepak, Annie Cepak, Otille Gerik, Thresa Sulak and Mary Sulak; and five brothers, Joe D. Sulak, Cyril M.
