Bio
Marie Ann "Mary" Frank was born on 2 July 1882, to Jacob and Mary Dvorak (Dworshak) Frank, II, in Henryville Township, Renville County, Minnesota. It should be noted that her gravestone says, "Mary J." Mary was the fifth born of nine children. Her siblings were: Anna; twins, Joseph and John; Michael; Jacob, III.; Katherine; Henry; and Wencel Frank. She married Joseph Anton Goblirsch, the son of Michael and Katharina "Katherine" Weis Goblirsch, on 5 January 1901, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bechyn, Minnesota. They later changed the spelling of their name to "Goblish." After their marriage, Mary Ann and Joseph farmed near Vesta and raised their five children: sons, William Vincent and George John, and daughters, Lillian Rose, Evangeline Alice "Evelyn," and Emily Lucille Goblirsch. Marie Ann "Mary" Frank Goblish died on 7 July 1968, in Blue Earth County, Minnesota. Her funeral service was held in the Holy Name Catholic Church in Vesta, and she was buried, next to her husband, in the Holy Name Catholic Church Cemetery in Vesta, Redwood County, Minnesota.
