Transcription of Obituary from The Bryan Daily Eagle, Tues., 17 Oct. 1978 Mrs. Bond Funeral services for Mrs. Emma H. Bond, 89, Bryan, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Steep Hollow Baptist Church, with Revs. Albert Foster and Roy S. Hollomon officiating. Burial will follow in Steep Hollow Cemetery under direction of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home. Mrs. Bond died Monday afternoon, Oct. 16, 1978, in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 29, 1888, in Brazos County, was a lifelong resident of the county and member of Steep Hollow Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Dorothy) Carroll and Mrs. J. H. (Jonell) Hendricks, both of Pasadena; one brother, Elmer Bullock, Bryan; two sisters, Mrs. Brooks Beal and Mrs. Carrie Weedon, both of Bryan; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
