Transcription of Obituary from The Bryan Daily Eagle, Monday, 8 April 1960 Mr. Bullock Funeral services for Joel Amzy Bullock of 506 Dodge St. were held today at 3:30 p.m. at the Steep Hollow Baptist Church. Bullock, 69, died Saturday in a local hospital. The Reb. Louie Walston of the Steep Hollow Baptist Church officiated. Burial was in Steep Hollow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home. Bullock was born in Brazos County March 3, 1899. He was a member of the Steep Hollow Baptist Church. Siurvivors include two brothers, Walter Bullock of Houston and Elmer Bullock of Bryan; five sisters, Mrs. Joe Bond, Mrs. Berry Risinger, Mrs. Brooks Beal, all of Bryan, Mrs. Hardy Weedon of Harvey, and Mrs. Walter Cargill of Pasadena. Pallbearers were nephews of Bullock.
