Bryan-College Station Eagle; Friday, June 6, 1980; p. 4 Mrs. Carrie Weedon, 87, of Harvey died today at a local hospital and funeral arrangements are pending at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home. Mrs. Weedon was born April 17, 1893. ∼ Bryan-College Station Eagle; Saturday, June 7, 1980; p. 5 Mrs. Carrie Maude Weedon, 87, of Route 3, College Station died Friday morning in a local hospital. Services were to be held 9:30 a.m. today in Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Steep Hollow Cemetery. The Rev. David Rowland will officiate. Callaway-Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Weedon was born April 17, 1893, in Brazos County where she resided most of her life. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors include: sons, Lynn Weedon and Travis Weedon, both of Bryan, and Don Weedon of Austin; daughter, Mrs. Margaret Ann Boles of Houston; brother, Elmer Bullock of Bryan; sister, Mrs. Lessie Beal of Bryan; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
