WAHOO-Helen Maly of rural Wahoo, died at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County. Born June 4, 1913, in Waverly, Mrs. Maly lived near Wahoo for many years. The former Helen Pokorny married Stanley Maly on September 19, 1934, in Havelock. He survives. Survivors include five sons, Eugene of Anchorage, Alaska, Stanley M. of Cameron, MO., william J., of Omaha Robert of Fremont and Richard L., of Mead; four daughters, Helen (Lawrence) Backens of Fremont, Janice (Richard) Callahan of Omaha, Martha (Dean) Jungers of Bellevue and Kathryn (Dan) Nordstrom of Wahoo; five brothers, George Pokorny of Oak Ridge, OR.,Bert Pokorny of Havanna, IL.,William Pokorny of Clinton, IA., Andrew Pokorny of RockPort, TX., Edward Pokorny of Falls City; three sisters, Verna Fujan of Colon, Tonie Ratkovec of Valparaiso and Mary Stanislav of Onawa, IA.; 26 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services at St. Francis Catholic Church in Colon. The Rev. Patrick O'Byrne officiated. Burial in St. Francis Cemetery in Wahoo. Svoboda Funeral Home of Wahoo in charge of arrangements.
