Harold Grounds LEONARD - Funeral services for Harold Dean Grounds, 73, of Princeton will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel in Leonard with Charles Wrenn officiating. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery near Leonard. He died Tuesday at Medical Center of Plano. He was born Dec. 7, 1927, in Leonard, the son of Charles Leonard Grounds and Zephyr Annis Grounds. He married Betty Cowan on May 22, 1948, in Trenton. Mr. Grounds retired from the Vought Corporation and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Princeton. Survivors are his wife of Princeton; sons Harold Wayne Grounds of Princeton, Charles Grounds of Mansfield, Scott Grounds of Fort Worth, Bryon Grounds of Morgan and Lowell Grounds of Hamilton; daughters Lena McVay of Granbury, Carol Christenson of Hamilton and Rochelle George of McKinney; sisters Nadine Brewer of Rendon, Susie Deel of Trenton, Mada Ray Walker of Bonham and Euwana Godwin of Forney; brothers Zeke Grounds of Bonham and Bill Grounds of Denison; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Obit from Janie
