Bio

Charles A. Grounds, 60, loving husband, father, brother and uncle, passed away Monday August 18, 2014 at his home. Charles was born in Fort Worth, Texas on February 10, 2014, the son of Harold Dean Grounds and Betty Lou Cowan Grounds. He married Diann McCombs in Arlington. Texas on November 11, 1978. Charles was a retired diesel technician and a veteran of the United States Navy. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Diann Grounds; daughters, Jessica and Ashley Grounds; brothers, Harold Wayne Grounds and wife a Judy, Scott Grounds and wife Vickie, Bryan Grounds and wife Deria, Lowell Grounds and wife Kim; sisters, Lena McVay and husband Steve, Carol Christenson and husband Larry, Rochelle George and husband Ronnie; 15 nieces ; and sister in law, Marsha McCombs.
