Charlsey Annis "Susie" Grounds Deel February 5, 1943 - June 17, 2022 Charlsey "Susie" Deel (Grounds), 79, passed away on June 17, 2022, in Trenton, Texas. She was born on February 5, 1943, to Charles Leonard Grounds and Zephyr Grounds in Trenton, Texas. Susie married John Morrell Deel on September 8, 1961, in Dallas, Texas. Together, they shared 37 years of marriage. Family was very important to Susie. She had six children, 14 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren. She would say that she was "rich with love". Susie was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Trenton, Texas. Susie is survived by her son, Johnny Deel and wife, Jackie, of Royse City, Texas; daughter, Tina Moritz and husband, Jim, of Gunter, Texas; son, Randy Deel and wife, LeaAnn, of Wylie, Texas; daughter, Teresa Dockery and husband, Tony, of Blue Ridge, Texas; son, Charles Deel and wife, Agnes, of Bedford, Texas; grandchildren, Chesney Deel, Chandra Oud and husband, Klaas, Sean Pelley and wife, Karen, Casey Pelley and wife, Jennifer, Andrew Moritz and wife, Emily, Byron Deel and wife, Robin, Paul Deel and wife, April, Tito Deel and wife, Morgan, Lacie Ulmer and husband, Cary, Kevin Dockery and wife, Rachael, Meagan Breitwieser and husband, Daniel, Clay Jones and wife, Pam, Ryan Dockery and wife, Kristin, and Jace Dockery; sister, Euwana Godwin; and many great-grandchildren. She is preceded by her parents, Charles and Zephyr Grounds; husband, John Morrell Deel; two sisters; and four brothers. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022, at 10 A.M., at First United Methodist Church, 215 2nd Street, Trenton, Texas 75490. The family will welcome guests for a visitation, Sunday, June 19, 2022, from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home, 701 North Cedar Street, Leonard, Texas 75452.
