Bio

Herald Coaster, July 1, 1962: Funeral services for Mrs. Albina Kaluza, 63, were held from St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Needville at 1 p.m. Friday, June 29, with Rev. John Dany officiating. Mrs. Kaluza was born on April 1, 1899, in Nada. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Mazac. In 1919, she married Frank Kaluza of Richmond. In 1943, they moved to the Fairchild community where she passed away at her home following a long illness. Survivors are her husband, Frank Kaluza of Fairchild; three sons, Edwin and Eldon of Fairchild, and Arnold of Timpson; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Sembera of Rosenberg; twelve grandchildren; one brother, John Mazac of Damon; and three sisters, Mrs. John Nawara of Needville, Mrs. Frank Nawara of Rosenberg, and Mrs. Louis Nawara of Damon. Pallbearers were J.W. Nawara Jr., Alton Nawara, Leonard Nawara, Robert Nawara, Nelson Nawara, and Newell Finch Jr. Interment was made in the Needvile Public Cemetery with the Triska Funeral Home in charge.
