Bio

Funeral services for Frances Louise Morisak, age 81, formerly of Yoakum, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the St. Ann's Catholic Church with the Rev. Gabriel Mensah officiating. Burial is to follow in the St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery near Petersville under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home. She died on Tuesday May 1, 1990, in a Seguin hospital following a short illness. She was born on September 29, 1908, in Lavaca County, to the late Antone and Veronica Chilek Morisak. She is survived by five sisters, Sister Martha Morisak of Victoria, Tony Valenta of North Zulch, Janie Morisak and Emily Chumchal, both of Yoakum, and Monica Machacek of Shiner; and three brothers, Charlie Morisak of Seguin, Cyrill Morisak of Hochheim, and Victor Morisak of San Antonio. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Willie and Felix Morisak.
