GONZALES - Cyrill Morisak, age 91, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2012. He was born on January 17, 1921, in Cheapside, Gonzales County, to Anton and Veronica Chilek Morisak. He was a farmer, raised pecans, and was a Catholic. Survivors: Sister, Monica Machacek; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: Parents; brothers, Charlie, Willie, Felix, and Victor Morisak; and sisters, Francis Morisak, Sister Martha, Janie Morisak, Antonie Morisak, and Emily Morisak. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at 10 a.m., at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home with Mr. Morisak's nephew, Deacon Joe Machacek, officiating. Interment at St. Ann's Cemetery.
