Israel (Jitters) Dent, 63, of 42 Lincoln Ave., Lincoln Heights, Jeannette, died in Jeannette District Memorial Hospital Saturday. He was born October 18, 1912 in Leechburg, a son of the late Natale and Filomena Aquino Dent. He was a member of the Ascension Church and American Legion Post 344 of Jeannette. He was a retired employee of the A.S.G. Industries and a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by a brother William, in 1962. He is survived by his widow, Elma Dent, and the following children: Albert Dent of Jeannette; two step-sons, Larry Imperiale of Delaware, Md., and Michael Imperiale at home; one brother Sylvester Dente of New York; one sister, Mrs. Louis (Norma) Magoni, of Ridgeway; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Birk Funeral Home, 218 South Fifth St. Jeannette, daily from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. beginning 7 p.m. Sunday. A Blessing service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Father Perulli officiating. Interment will be held in Jeannette Catholic Cemetery.
