Bio
Mrs. Filomena Dente, 49 years, 353 days old, died at her home on Division Street, last evening at 7:30 o'clock. Surviving are her husband, Natale Dente and 7 children: one daughter and six sons. Funeral services with requiem high mass will be held in the Church of the Ascension Wednesday morning at 10:00. Interment will be made in the Jeannette Catholic Cemetery. OBITUARY: From Jeannette Newspaper ******************* Filomena Aquino and Natale Dente were married on February 21, 1897 in Italy. Filomena and her son, Aniello (Neal) immigrated from Italy in September, 1902 aboard the "Patria". Filomena was 25 and Neal was 4. They joined Natale, who immigrated earlier and was living with relatives near Pittsburgh, Pa. The family then settled in Jeannette, Pa. Filomena died giving birth to her 12th child, a girl, who also died. Other children not yet linked are: Maria Carmela 1900 - 1902, died in Montefredane, Avellino, Campagna, Italy. Michael "Mickey" Dente, b. 5-27-1906, d. 1-08-1960 in Brooklyn, NY. *******************
