Elma T. Dent, 88, of Jeannette, passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010 in Hempfield Manor. She was born June 1, 1921, in Avella, the daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria Latanzzi Marimpietri. Prior to her retirement, Elma was the office manager for the Domestic Relations Division in the Westmoreland County Court House. She was a member of Ascension Church in Jeannette and the Lincoln Heights Friendship Club. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Israel "Jitters" Dent, in 1975; and two brothers, Daniel Marimpietri and his wife, Bessie, and John "Jay" Marimpietri. She is survived by two sons, Michael Imperiale and Lawrence Imperiale and wife, Lisa, and a stepson, Albert Dent and wife, Peggy, all of Jeannette; grandchildren, Sandy Shaw and husband Jeff, Gina Burkett and husband Frankie, Lawrence Imperiale Jr., and Gina and Vincent Imperiale; great-grandchildren, Austin and Alex Shaw; a sister-in-law, Ellen Marimpietri; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the John V. Graziano Funeral Home, Inc., Jeannette, Pa. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday in Ascension Church with Father John M. Foriska as celebrant. Entombment will take place in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
