Bio
Norma E. Dent Magoni of Ridgway, died at the Elk County General Hospital Thursday night, following a lengthy illness. She was born September 6, 1908 in Jeannette, PA, the daughter of the late Natale and Filomena Aquino Dente. She resided in Ridgway for 33 years and was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church and the Amelia Earhart Lodge. She had been employed by Quality Components until her retirement. She is survived by a son, Fred Botti, of Baltimore, Md., a brother, Sylvester Dente of Brooklyn, NY, and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Magoni, in 1978. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Leo's Catholic Church on Monday at 10 a.m. Officiating will be Father Martin Krepcho. Interment will follow at St. Leo's Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Paul Meehan Funeral Home on Saturday from 7 to 9 and on Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. A Christian Wake Service will be held on Sunday at 8:45 p.m.
