Greenville (Texas) Herald Banner, Sun, 13 May 1984, page A2, Deaths, Frair ARVIN, Calif. – Funeral services for Hunt County native Mrs. Ruby Frair will be at 10 a.m. Monday at John Sam Funeral Chapel, with burial in an Arvin cemetery. Mrs. Frair died at her home May 9. She was born Dec. 11, 1903, to the late Willie and Dora Shields in the White Rock community north of Greenville. She was a Methodist. Survivors include one son and four grandchildren of Portersville, Calif.; four sisters, Opal Turner of Hurst, Norma Cody of National City, Calif., Bernice Green of White Rock and Stella Blalock of Atlanta; three brothers, Weldon and Guy Shields, both of Greenville, and Wayne Shields of Hurst. She was preceded in death by an infant son in 1921.
