OBITUARY OF ROBERT CHRISMER Relatives and friends gathered at the Presbyterian Church n Yuma last Thursday afternoon to pay final tribute to Charles Robert Chrismer. Rev. T. C. Westfall officiated and burial was made in the Yuma Cemetery. Charles Robert Chrismer, son of Charles C. and Jennie M. Chrismer, was born December 9, 1890, the oldest of seven children. at their home north of Yuma. He passed away October 2, 1967 at the Yuma Community Hospital following an illness of two months. His age was 76 years, 9 months, and 23 days. He was baptized at an early age and later became a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Yuma. He received his schooling n Yuma and attended Agricultural College at Fort Collins. He was employed as timekeeper for the great Western Sugar Company in Brush, where he met and later married Juanita McSween on June 22, 1914. They moved to Yuma in the spring of 1916 where he took over the management of the Chrismer ranch. One of his chief interests was the building up of a herd of registered Red Poll Cattle, the largest in Colorado. He leaves his wife, Juanita; a daughter and her husband, three sons and their wives, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; three brothers, one sister, and their families all of Yuma.--Yuma Pioneer, Thursday, October 12, 1967
