Rex Chrismer Buried Thursday Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, March 4, 1976, at the Morris-Spellman Chapel for Rex Chrismer a lifelong resident of Yuma. Pastor Tom Westfall officiated and burial was in the Yuma Cemetery. Reginald Codori Chrismer was born May 24, 1903, to pioneer parents, Charles C. and Jennie J. Chrismer. He was educated in the Yuma schools and attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln for four years. Rex was employed in the J.C. Penney store in Wenatchee, Washington, for several years, then returned to Yuma and was engaged in farming until retiring in 1974. He entered Presbyterian Medical Center for cancer surgery December 5, 1975, was transferred to the East Morgan County Hospital February 11 and died there March 1, at the age of 72 years, nine months and six days. Preceding him in death were two infant sisters; his parents; three brothers, Robert, Wilbur and wife, Della, and Harold. Survivors include his sister and husband, Margaret and L.H. Scott; sisters-in-law, Juanita and Helen Chrismer; thirteen nieces and nephews and their families.--Yuma Pioneer, Thursday, March 11, 1976, Pg. 5
