Lillian G. Nors, age 80, of Abbott, passed away early Thursday morning, February 24, 1994 at Providence Health Center in Waco. A rosary was recited 8 p.m. Friday at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott with Rev. John Molnar as celebrant. Burial followed in Fatima Cemetery near Abbott. Mrs. Nors was born May 10, 1913 in Penelope. She married Raymond H. Nors on February 24, 1941 also in Penelope. He preceded her in death on May 3, 1985. She was a housewife and homemaker. She was a baker for Nors Bakery in West for several years and worked previously for the Village Bakery. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Abbott and was a member of the Ladies Altar Society. She is also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Diane Roznovsky who died in April of 1973, and one grandson, Charlie Nors who died in June of 1983. She is survived by two sons, Bennie Ray Nors and Harry Gene Nors, both of Abbott; two daughters, Angelina Rosnovsky and Betty Jo Miller, both of Carrollton; one brother, Rudy Janek of Brandon; 24 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers were John Rosnovsky III, Jerry Rosnovsky, David Nors, Raymond Nors, Eugene Miller, Jr., Michael Miller, Tom Marek and Billy Sams. Honorary pallbearers were Stephen Nors, Dwain Nors, Kenneth Nors, Bennie Nors, Jr., Tim Miller, Joe Miller, Steven Mueller, Kevin Chupik and Brian Renegar. Memorials may be made to the West Ambulance Association or to the charity of your choice. Aderhold Funeral Home in West was in charge of arrangements.
