Bio
Mrs. Bessie Pustejovsky, age 88 of Abbott, passed away Saturday night, March 17, 2001 in West Rest Haven. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Monday in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Ron Scheible, O.S.A. as celebrant. Burial followed in Fatima Cemetery in Abbott. Mrs. Pustejovsky was born February 5, 1913 in West and had lived in the West-Abbott area all of her life. She was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott, the Altar Society, K.J.Z.T. Society No. 104 of Abbott and the Catholic Daughters of America Society Heart Court No. 829 of West. She enjoyed working in her yard and watching her flowers grow. She married Emil F. Pustejovsky, October 16, 1933 at West and he preceded her in death on September 19, 1990. Mrs. Pustejovsky is survived by two sons, Eugene Pustejovsky and his wife Kathleen and Emil J. Pustejovsky and his wife Frances, all of Abbott; four daughters, Lillian Filer and her husband Matthew of West, Agnes Marak and her husband Frankie and Bernice Beene and her husband Kenneth, all of Abbott and Theresa Jaska and her husband Raymond of Ross; two brothers, Jody Pavlicek and his wife Stella of Tours and Edward Pavlicek and his wife Tarcisia of San Antonio; a sister, Frances Ender of Chilton; two sister-in-laws, Bernadine Pavlicek and Georgia Pavlicek, both of West; 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Active Pallbearers were Ronnie Marak, Kevin Beene, John Jaska, Richard Filer, Phil Pustejovsky and Paul Pustejovsky. Honorary Pallbearers were all other grandchildren.
