Joseph Pavlicek Dies; Rites held Monday At Tours. Joseph Pavlicek, 79, of Tours died Saturday afternoon enroute to a Hillsboro hospital. Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Tours. Rev. Edward Geiser officiated with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery in West. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mr. Pavlicek was a retired farmer. He was born in Czechoslovakia. He was a Catholic and a member of the SPJST Lodge. He was cotton buyer for a number of years. Survivors are his wife: five sons, Frank Pavlicek of Tours, James Pavlicek of West, Albin Pavlicek of Tours, Japeh Pavlicek, Jr. of Tours and Edward Pavlicek of Albuquerque, N.M.; three daughters, Mrs. Bessie Pustejovsky of Abbott, Mrs. Vlasta Svoboda of Tours and Mrs. Frances Ender of Childton; two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Bartosh and Mrs. Zvonek, both of Germany. Mr. Joseph Pavlicek had 22 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Emil Pustejovsky, of Abbott, Carl Enders of Chilton, Alfonse Marek of Abbott, John Mach of Elk and Johnny Hynek of Penelope.
