Bio

Frank J. Pavlicek, age 76 of Tours, passed away Thursday morning, August 1 in a Waco hospital. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday by Rev. Isidore Rozycki in St. Martin’s Catholic Church, Tours. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Martin’s Catholic Church, with Rev. Eddie Pavlicek as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Martin’s Cemetery, Tours, with VFW Post #4819 serving as Honor Guard. Mr. Pavlicek was born December 6, 1914 in Tours and had lived there all of his life. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the Army, a member of B+VFW Post #4819 of West, and a member of St. Martin’s Catholic Church of Tours. He was a retired farmer. He married Grace Berger in 1946. She preceded him in death June 30, 1983. Survivors include three brothers, James Pavlicek and Joseph Pavlicek, both of West and Edward Pavlicek of San Antonio; two sisters, Bessie Pustejovsky of Abbott and Frances Enders of Chilton. Pallbearers were Gregory Pavlicek, Dennis Pavlicek, Matt Filer, Eugene Pustejovsky, Richard Filer and Emil J. Pustejovsky. Kotch Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
